Making Bangladesh Blossom Together
Since 2021, Lily Charities has been actively Making Bangladesh Blossom, guided by one question: How can we best help as many people in Bangladesh as possible to escape intergenerational poverty and thrive? Through this mission, we have built and funded 4 schools, sponsored hundreds of year-long scholarships, donated over 50,000 meals, provided women’s education programs, conducted medical camps for hundreds of people, and even built a water well.
Ultimately, we found our place: Increasing literacy. By building libraries and providing access to books, we are breaking cycles of poverty, opening doors to education, and empowering entire communities to succeed for generations. (Read more about the impact of literacy in society.)
