Building Brighter Futures in Bangladesh
Since 2021, Lily Charities has been committed to empowering communities in Bangladesh by breaking cycles of poverty through education. We’ve built schools, donated meals, provided scholarships, and are now focused on increasing literacy by building libraries. Together, we are transforming lives for generations to come.

The White Water Lily – A Symbol of a Bright Future
The Water Lily, the national flower of Blangladesh, is one of it's many unique native plant species, particularly rare in its structure and growth. Water Lilies originate in the soil of the river bed, slowly inching toward the surface. Once above the surface, a beautiful flower blossoms, revealing the fruits of its slow, steady climb from the muddy river bed.
Like the Water Lily, Bangladesh is a young country inching its way to the surface, and in a future day, will blossom evermore brightly. Having declared its independence a mere 55 years ago, Bangladesh has increased its GDP from a meager ~$100 USD per capita in GDP in 1972 to an impressive ~$2,700 USD per capita by 2022.
The story of Bangladesh is only beginning. Despite impressive progress, more work remains to be done. Lily Charities is committed to this journey of improvement, committed to Making Bangladesh Blossom like the water lily.
